WANIC

Washington Network for Innovative Careers (WANIC)

WANIC is a regional Skills Center consortium of seven school districts in northeast King County. Most courses meet daily for three periods on other high school campuses or at the central WANIC facility in Kirkland. Juniors and seniors are eligible to participate and must be on track to graduate in order to take classes through the WANIC program. Interested students should visit http://wanic.lwsd.org and their high school’s College & Career center in early spring to learn about the WANIC program and pursue the application process.

Visit the WANIC website for information about the Application Process.

WANIC courses are available in the following areas: Arts, Media, Communication, and Design; Business Management; Natural Resources and Agri-Science; Engineering, Science, and Technology; Health and Human Services; and Information Technology.  Visit WANIC for a list of class descriptions, locations, times, and credit details.
