Graduation Requirements Tile in Family Access

The Graduation Plan tile in Family Access is provided for your convenience as a planning resource.

 

If you believe there are discrepancies in the information contained in the Graduation Plan tile or if you require official graduation status information, please contact your school counselor.

When the Graduation Plan tile is selected, the following information will be available to assist you in planning:

 

By highlighting a sub area, you can see what coursework has been applied to that requirement, if any:

 

• When a student is currently enrolled in a class that satisfies more than one graduation requirement, the class will not be reflected in both categories until the course has been completed.
• For students currently enrolled in courses outside of the building (Running Start, WaNIC), those courses will not show up under the “In Progress” category. When the class(es) have been completed, the course(s) will be displayed in the “Completed Credits” category. There may be a time delay from when the course was completed to when it appears in Graduation Requirements.
• For students who have an IEP or have transferred from another school, course work must be manually entered and this may cause a delay in when those courses are viewable in the Graduation Plan. Please contact your school counselor with any questions or discrepancies.
• Students repeating a year-long course where only one semester was previously passed may have inaccurate information displayed in the Graduation Plan. BOTH the first and second semester of that class must be passed in order to fulfill the graduation requirement.

The WA State History (NW Studies) , High School and Beyond Plan, and Graduation Pathway graduation requirements are not displayed on the Graduation Plan screen, and are only viewable in the Endorsements tile once they have been fully completed.
