Principal Mark Jergens-Zmuda

Meet Principal Mark Jergens-Zmuda

Hello, Panther families! I’m thrilled to be the principal of such an amazing school community. I am excited about this job because it gives me the opportunity to help enrich the lives of our students, and also for witnessing and fostering those “lightbulb” moments when a concept clicks for a student and they really understand it. A few fun facts about me: I love 80s music, swimming and softball. If I could eat just one type of food for the rest of my life, it would probably be Reese’s peanut butter cups. I went to high school and participated in band with Pharrell Williams in Virginia, and was later a drum major at Virginia Tech and used to do backflips across the field at college football games.
