Before and After School Care
The BASC Program is dedicated to ensuring a high-quality, engaging, and safe environment for every child in our care. Guided by our vision of "It's All About the Kids," we aim to inspire the youth in our program to explore their interests and develop their skills through dynamic out-of-school experiences, led by our committed team.
The Before and After School Care (BASC) program began in 1993 with two sites at Sunset and Cougar Ridge Elementary Schools, initially serving just over 100 elementary students with a team of eleven team members. The program rapidly grew and now supports students and families at all sixteen elementary schools within the Issaquah School District.
At ISD Preschool Academy, we firmly believe in the importance of early childhood education. Our program is designed around play-based learning, incorporating a blend of themed activities, active participation, and both group and one-on-one instruction. By introducing fundamental skills at an early age, we help your child develop the academic and social-emotional abilities that are crucial for success in kindergarten and beyond. Club Connection is the Issaquah School District's break care and summer camp program operated by Before and After School Care (BASC). Club Connection is designed to provide unique enrichment opportunities to children ages 5 to 11, which are structured around our participant's individual interests and capitalize on the special talents of our team members.
