The Before and After School (BASC) Program is dedicated to ensuring a high-quality, engaging, and safe environment for every child in our care. Guided by our vision of “It’s All About the Kids,” we aim to inspire the youth in our program to explore their interests and develop their skills through dynamic out-of-school experiences, led by our committed team.

The Before and After School Care (BASC) program began in 1993 with two sites at Sunset and Cougar Ridge Elementary Schools, initially serving just over 100 elementary students with a team of eleven staff members. Since that time, the program has grown significantly and now supports students and families at all sixteen elementary schools within the Issaquah School District.

During the summer, we offer day camps for elementary and middle school students through our Club Connection and !MPACT programs. These camps are open to children who are enrolled in the Issaquah School District or who live within ISD boundaries.

Additionally, the BASC program includes the ISD Preschool Academy, which serves students in Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten at Apollo, Holly Street Early Learning Center, and Skyline High School.
