Tips for Parent-Teacher Conferences (Elementary School Only - K-5)

Parent-Teacher conferences are taking place at your school building on Wednesday, November 8, and Thursday, November 9. 

Tips for Parent Teacher Conferences, an optional information event, is for families of elementary school students (Grades K-5). It is designed for families who are unfamiliar with Parent-Teacher Conferences. This is a valuable opportunity for you to discuss your child’s progress at school, ask questions, and find solutions to academic or behavioral concerns. All elementary school families are encouraged to sign up for a conference and meet with their child’s teacher during conferences.

Topics will include – How to have a productive dialogue with teachers at conferences, contacting schools, how to schedule a conference, norms at conferences, how to prepare for the conference meeting and suggested questions to ask teachers at conferences.
