Back-to-School Resource Fair

Welcoming All ISD Families for Resources and Support

We are excited to announce our Back-to-School Resource Fair date for 2026! This event aims to ensure that all students in our community are equipped with the essentials they need to start the new school year confidently and prepared for success. All ISD students and families are welcome!

If you have transportation needs, King County Metro Flex may be an option for transportation to the school from Issaquah and Sammamish neighborhoods.

Resources Available

We are thrilled to offer resources and services at the fair for currently enrolled 2026-27 Issaquah School District students.

 

Clothing Icon
Clothing

New or gently used clothing for Students provided by the clothing drive. Made possible through generous partnership with the Community Clothing Closet.

Medical Care Icon
Medical Care

Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals will be on hand to provide physical examinations, sports physicals and emergency medications needed for school.

Food Services Icon
Food Services

Information about our school meal programs will be provided, ensuring that students have access to nutritious meals throughout the school day.

 

More information about vaccinations will be provided as the event approaches.

 

Other Resources:

 

  • Athletic Registration
    • Staff will be able to provide information about sports and registration. They will also be able to give support with athletic forms. (FinalForms)

 

  • Issaquah Food Bank:
    • Representatives from the Food Bank will be present to offer information on food assistance programs available to families in need.

 

  • King County Library System:
    • Representatives from the King County Library in Issaquah and Sammamish will be there promote literacy and library resources available to students and families.
  • The Garage:
    • Representatives from The Garage will be present to provide information on youth programs and activities available in our community.

 

  • The Circle: 
    • Representatives from The Circle will be available to offer support and resources for students and families.

 

  • Cultural Bridges:
    • Representatives from Cultural Bridges will be available to share informational resources. 
       
  • Community Health Access Program:
    • King County's Community Health Access Program assists individuals with enrolling in health insurance and other public benefit programs; helps people understand and navigate the Washington state health care system, and works with partners to identify barriers and co-create solutions and improve equitable access to care.

Volunteers Needed to Help with Clothing Donations

As part of the August 12 Back-to-School Resource Fair, the Community Clothing Closet will provide clothing for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The nonprofit organization’s volunteers will collect donations, sort and hang clothes, and set up for clothing distribution. 

“We need plenty of volunteers to help make this a success,” said Angela Dahrea, the clothing closet’s Director of Community Engagement and Co-Founder. “Please consider how you would like to help and click on the appropriate link below to see shifts and sign up.”

Three options to sign up to help:
  • Friday, August 7 – Use this form to sign up to set up and help sort donations we have previously received
  • Monday, August 10 and Tuesday, August 11 – Use this form to sign up to help receive donations and sort and hang clothing
  • Wednesday, August 12 (PLEASE NOTE: This volunteer day is for adults 19 years of age and older ONLY).  Use this form to sign up to help with the clothing distribution during the event.
