Cold and flu season

Influenza can be severe, and it's important to protect yourself and others. If your child is sick, please keep them at home. If you're not sure if your child has the flu, or something else ask these questions:  Is there a fever? Are there other symptoms such as a cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills, diarrhea or vomiting?  If the answer is YES to both, your child should stay home.

Ways to protect yourself and your family are to ensure everyone has a flu shot, wash hands thoroughly, drink plenty of fluids, get plenty of rest and stay home when ill.   Please take a moment to review the information below from the Centers for Disease Prevention, Washington State Department of Health, and the King County Health Department for preventing the spread of colds, flu, and other diseases.
