Course Information
- Apex teacher assigned to student

- No live streaming
- Self-directed
- Middle School Course List (these are high school level classes)
- Maximum of two (2) semester long courses, no year-long courses
- Expect to spend 15 hours a week per course

Students are expected to complete the required self-guided orientation by course start date

If student orientation has not completed the orientation within 5 days of start date, enrollment will be canceled.

Students can take an Online Learning course free of charge if they are deemed credit deficient.

Prior to enrolling in ISD Online Learning Summer 2022, Spring 2022 Sem 2 credits will count toward your total credits to determine credit deficiency.
Drop Policy
- Up until Day 2: Student may drop with no grade penalty
- Day 3-5: Student will receive a ‘W’ on transcript
- Day 6 or after: Student will receive a ‘F’ on transcript
Refund Policy
- Before starting the course: Drop with a full refund ($400)
- Day 1-Day 5: Drop with partial refund ($325)
- Day 6 & Beyond: No refund
Final Grade:
- Students will earn a letter grade for their course (A-F), unless they are taking a Prescriptive course (Pass/Fail)
- Final course grade will be placed on the student’s high school transcript.
- Middle school students' final grades will also count towards their middle school record.

- Students are prioritized by grade level.

All students are required to attend on Tuesday, June 14 at 4pm via Zoom.
Coursework and Testing:
- 100% online except CPR/First Aid Certification
- The course will follow Issaquah School District’s current Health curriculum.
- Students can expect to spend at least 18 hours per week working on the course.
- Midterm and Final Exam must be taken remotely during the following times:

- Friday, July 22 at 12pm
CPR/First Aid:

To receive the CPR/First Aid Certification, students are required to attend in person.

Late Work Policy:
Health assignments will be expected to be turned in daily. If turned in late within the unit, a 10% penalty will be applied. Assignments will not be accepted once a unit has concluded.
Credit:

Students earn 0.5 credit.
-
This course counts as 0.5 CTE (Career and Technical Ed) credit.
-
This course is not considered an outside credit and does not count against the 4.0 outside credit limit.
