Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP)
Program Description
ECEAP, like Head Start, is a free preschool program for children ages 3-5 years of age. ECEAP is funded through the Washington State Department of Early Learning and the Issaquah School District. Children are eligible for ECEAP based on their age, family income, and risk factors. A preschool curriculum is offered along with nutritious meals and snacks, free bus transportation, and family support services.
Support services include health and developmental screenings, social-emotional-behavioral support, family engagement activities, parent education, and community leadership opportunities. Our Family Support Specialists (FSS) will work with your family to help determine if your child qualifies for this early learning preschool program as well as help families access medical care, dental care, and social services.
