Online Health

• Accelerate Education teacher assigned to student

• Students earn 0.5 credit for Health
• This course does not count toward CTE credit. 

CPR/First Aid Sessions

• Location: Issaquah High School Library
• Dates and Times:
  • June 26: 9am-12pm
  • June 27: 9am-12pm
  • June 30: 9am-12pm
  • July 8: 11am-2pm

CPR/First Aid is required to earn 0.5 credit in Health. Students can attend one of the sessions above for free (see dates and times above) or they can schedule their own class. The CPR/First Aid card will need to be current. Cards expired on July 21 or earlier will not receive points. Students will need to sign up for one of the sessions above on the Summer School 2025 application, upload their card to the Summer School application or agree to attend their own class and provide documentation by 11:59pm on July 21. 

• Up until School Day 2: Student may drop with no grade penalty
• School Day 3-5: Student will receive a W on transcript
• School Day 6 or after: Student will receive a F on transcript

• Grades 8-12 during the 2024-2025 school year

• Students will earn a letter grade for their course (A-F).
• Final course grade will be placed on the student's high school transcript. 
• Middle school student's final grades (grade 8 in school year 2024-2025) will also count towards their middle school record. 
• If the student is taking the course for grade improvement, the highest letter grade will count towards the student's GPA. Both letter grades will appear on the student's transcript. 

Important Note: If a student fails an online course and/or consistently fails to follow Online Learning policies they will be unable to enroll in future online courses with ISD Online Learning. 

• Before starting the course: Drop with refund minus processing fee ($385)
• Day 1-Day 5: Drop with partial refund ($285)
• Day 6 & beyond: No refund

Days include weekends and holidays.

Online Health Application 

Please make sure to complete the Student Participation Agreement imbedded within the Online Health Application. 

• Students are expected to attend one (1) of the following required student orientations via Zoom. Parent/guardians are welcome to join too!
  • Monday, June 16 at 6pm
  • Tuesday, June 17 at 4pm
  • Wednesday, June 18 at 8:30am
• Zoom orientation links will be shared in the Summer School 2025 Welcome Letter sent out on Thursday, June 12 to the student's ISD email address and parent/guardian email. Attendance is tracked by students completing and submitting the survey at the end of the orientation.
• Students will be dropped on Friday, June 20 if they do not attend one of the sessions above. If a student is dropped, school drop and refund policies will be followed. 

There is no in person or remote proctored testing for this course.
